Discovery Day
One day. Your full legal picture. We review your contracts, identify your risks, and hand you a clear written action plan, same day. Not sure which service you need? This is the place to start. Fixed fee. No commitment to anything further.
Businesses that have never had a legal review, founders who want to understand their current position, or anyone making a significant commercial decision and needing clarity first.

Early-stage businesses, occasional contract reviews, one-off questions, or businesses not yet at the volume to justify a retainer.

Your retainer →Litigation
Strategic support when matters become contentious. Clear advice quickly, from initial assessment through to settlement strategy and beyond, without the full cost of a traditional litigation firm.

Dispute resolution →Legal Products
Fixed-price legal products
Standardized, fixed-price legal products for specific business milestones. No scoping required - just clear deliverables at a set price.
Pricing
Costs you can rely on.
Fixed where we can. Fully informed, all the time.
01
Know the cost at the start
Every engagement is scoped and priced upfront. The fee is agreed in writing before any work begins. If scope changes, we tell you before the cost changes, not after.
02
Hourly rates take a back seat
We do not charge by the hour. Hourly billing creates perverse incentives and unpredictable invoices. Fixed fees align our interests with yours: we do the job well and efficiently.
03
Scope of Work
What the fee covers is written down. If something falls outside scope, we flag it and agree a fee before proceeding. Nothing is added silently to an invoice.
Get Started
Not sure where
to begin?
The quickest way to get started is a Discovery Day, one fixed-fee session that maps your legal position and tells you exactly what needs attention. Or get in touch directly and we will point you in the right direction.
Which service, and when
Which Silva legal service is right for my business?
It comes down to how often you need a lawyer. If legal work arrives as occasional one-off jobs, day-to-day support is the cheaper route - you pay for the piece of work and nothing else. If it arrives as a steady trickle of questions, a retainer costs less than the same work bought piecemeal and means you stop hesitating before asking. If you do not yet know which you are, a Legal Discovery Day answers that question first.
Can we move between services as things change?
Yes, and most clients do. Businesses commonly start with a single piece of work, move onto a retainer as the volume grows, and flex the retainer level up or down through busy and quiet stretches. Nothing here is a long tie-in, because a service you have outgrown is no use to either of us.
Do you work with businesses that already have a law firm?
Often. Silva tends to sit in front of the firm rather than replacing it - handling the commercial volume, and briefing the firm properly on the work which genuinely needs a regulated practice. Clients usually find their external legal spend falls, because the firm is only doing the work only a firm can do.
